Together with EuroSkills Herning 2025 and supported by the Villum Foundation, we embarked on a project of significantly enhancing diversity and promoting inclusion, as well as attracting and retaining female talent in technical and vocational skills, within the WorldSkills movement in Europe.
In this report we present insights into the barriers and opportunities that women encounter both prior to recruitment and throughout their participation in a Skills Competition. We follow this up with recommendations on how to better recruit women and how to ensure their wellbeing.
Furthermore, we share Boss Ladies’ best practice on diversity and inclusion from our collaboration with EuroSkills Herning 2025, both as an exhibitor working strategically with diversity and inclusion, and our experiences from the socially focused area for competitors, Competitor Lounge.
